At Clear Councils we are proud to support local councils across the UK, and know that when we work together, we can keep doing better. As such, we’re thrilled to announce the renewal of our partnership with NALC.
About NALC
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) is a membership organisation and the only national body representing the interests of parish and town councils across England. By providing a voice for the 10,000 councils, NALC are able to empower local communities and raise awareness of their hard work.

The partnership
The renewal not only marks the continuation of our efforts to support local councils, but also allows us to stay connected with trusted professionals across the industry. During our visit to the SLCC National Conference earlier this year, Lee Cleaver of the Clear Councils team (pictured right) was able to catch up with Keith Stevens, Chair of NALC (pictured left). Regarding the importance of the partnership, Lee Cleaver and Jonathan Owen, Chief Executive of NALC, say:
“Having worked alongside NALC first as BHIB Councils, and now Clear Councils, it’s been exciting to see our relationship grow over the years. The partnership renewal allows us to keep up the great things already in motion, like celebrating excellence at the NALC Star Council Awards, and opens more opportunities to combine our expertise.”
- Lee Cleaver Cert CII, Client Account Executive, Clear Councils
“NALC represents England’s 10,000 local (parish and town) councils and 100,000 councillors. NALC is delighted that its partnership with Clear Insurance Management will continue for another three years. This will be one of NALC’s longest partnerships first formed in 2017. Our strong relationship with Clear and their contacts with our county associations gives them a great understanding of the sector and the challenges and risks it faces. Their team is extremely responsive, and their offer is under regular review to ensure it meets Parish and Town Council needs.”
